Mysteries of the 715: Angelina Wall

It’s a case that has gone unsolved for over 20 years.

Angelina Wall was walking home from her late shift at McDonalds on South Hastings Way in Eau Claire on January 6, 2001 around 2 AM. She was found a few hours later on the side of the road on County Highway J in Fall Creek.

Investigators have put together this timeline. Angelina left work around or shortly before 2 AM and started walking to her home located at North Dewey Street. She stopped at a gas station on Birch Street between 2:30-2:40 AM to purchase a donut. That is the last time she was seen alive.

Investigators have long believed there is more than one person involved and reports indicate that there was a struggle and that the donut Angelina purchased was found at an intersection.

Angelina was found by a driver just a few hours later on the side of County Highway J, just south of U.S 12 near Fall Creek.

There have been reported leads, persons of interest, and improvements in technology. However, over 20 years later this case still remains unsolved. If you have any information, please contact the Eau Claire County Sheriffs Department
