Knoke’s Chocolates and Nuts

Near the western border of the 715 area code, my family found a local chocolates place. We were in Hudson, and decided to see what they have to offer dessert-wise. A little web searching, and we knew where to go: a place with chocolate. Knoke’s Chocolates and Nuts it was:

Life, box of chocolates, etc.

You walk inside, and you see loads of chocolates. Like, imagine any type of chocolate box or chocolate candy, and it is on display and ready for purchase. What to buy…hmm… I went with the basic box of eight chocolates; a good sampler my wife and I could split (and our daughter could probably wean a tiny taste of something at some point).

These are darn good chocolates. The ones in the box I ended up eating involved a rich berry creme; a chocolate-covered cherry with a tart-sweet syrup inside; a standard milk chocolate cube (with the Knoke’s “K” on the top); and a mini-peanut butter cup, with a peanut butter creme making up the lower half.

The signature “K”

If you’re on your way to the Cities (or back), turn off I-94 and head into downtown Hudson, and stop in to pick up one of the many variations of chocolates at Knoke’s. I know we could have bought at least three or four different desserts from all the display cases, so you will surely find something to fit your fancy. Even the edge of the 715 delivers its share of sweets.
