La Crosse’s Annual Oktoberfest Extravaganza
We celebrated Oktoberfest in Chippewa Falls a couple weeks ago, but now it’s time for La Crosse to throw their annual party! The Oktoberfest celebration in La Crosse is one of the largest and longest-running Oktoberfest celebrations in the Midwest. Read to the end to get a chance to win a ride and admission passes to this exciting celebration.

Here are a few event highlights:
Student Night is happening on Thursday night, where you can get free admission with a college student ID. There will be a Packers Party, DJ Trivia, and Good for Gary, a Twin Cities cover band, will be playing dance hits.
Thursday night is also Craft Beer Night, which has a special ticket you’ll need to sample over 20 craft breweries’ creations, and get a commemorative button included with your ticket.
The Opening Ceremony is at 11am on The Remainders Garden Stage, where they will do the tapping of the Samuel Adams Golden Keg!
Lederhosen Games will take place at the Garden Stage Area at 2 on Saturday, where participants will be competing in stein races, stein holdings, barrel roll, grain toss, Schokolade essen, and a scavenger hunt – all for prizes!
The 62nd Annual Oktoberfest Fireworks Celebration will be held at 9pm on Saturday, in the Fest Grounds.
