As the moon casts an eerie glow upon the chilling night, and the leaves rustle with ghostly whispers, it’s the perfect time to embark on a spine-tingling journey. Behold, a list of haunted houses and trails that will plunge you into the heart of darkness, where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs. Enter if you dare!

Field of Screams Haunted Trail and Barn

Prepare yourself for one of Wisconsin’s best haunted attractions, the Field of Screams Haunted Trail and Barn. It benefits Eau Claire County 4-H and Feed My People Food Pantry. It costs $20 or $18 with a non-perishable food item. This event is happening every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from October 13th to October 28th, from 7-10pm. With over 80 actors, this trail and barn takes about 30 minutes to get through. If you’re looking for a more kid-friendly event, the Field of Screams Family Fun Days are October 21st and 22nd from 10am-4pm. It’s all happening at the Rockin T-R Ranch, at 8020 Curvue Road. Prepare to get into the Halloween spirit!

The Haunted Hillside

A haunted trail for all ages, this attraction includes food, yard games, photo opportunities, vendors, and more. It’s happening every Friday and Saturday until October 28th from 6-9pm, at N5041 610th St in Menomonie.

Ski Sprites Haunted House: Carnevil

The Ski Sprites are hosting a haunted house with an evil carnival theme. It’s at 415 S. Dewey St, and it costs $13 a person. This spooky attraction is on every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from October 12th to October 28th, 7-11pm. 

Screamin’ Hollow Haunted Trail

Get your spook on through this ½ mile haunted woods trail through the Country Fest and Rock Fest grounds, and enjoy food from food trucks, live music, and drinks. There’s also a bonfire and tractor rides. This haunted trail is going on Thursday October 26th, from 6-10pm, Friday October 27th from 6-11pm, and Sunday October 29th from 6-10pm in Cadott. It’s $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Field of Screams at Connell’s Family Orchard

The last weekend in October brings Connell’s Family Orchard’s Field of Screams, where for $10 you get a free wagon ride to the haunted field. Enjoy hot cider, coffee, and bakery treats at the orchard as well.

Govin’s Twisted Tales of Horror Haunted Trail

Friday and Saturday nights from 6-10pm, from October 6th to October 28th, get spooked in their haunted trail, separate from the night corn maze. This trail is for people over 13 years old. It costs $15 to go through the trail, and you can bundle with the corn maze and save! Enjoy!
