What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?
3, 2, 1, it’s that time again! The new year is almost upon us and the 715 is not disappointing with the number of events you can attend to ring in the new year with a bang. There is plenty going on Sunday night, from balls to bashes to parties galore. Check out this round-up of some events happening!
Noon Year’s Eve
If you’ve got little ones, they might not want to stay up until midnight – or maybe you want to get out without them! Well, if that’s the case, Noon Year’s Eve is the perfect event for you! This event is held at the Children’s Museum of Eau Claire, from 10am-12pm. They’re hosting a party with a balloon drop countdown, bubble wrap stomp, party hats, noisemaker making, a dance party, face painting, and more!
New Year’s Skating Party
High Roller Skating Center of Eau Claire is hosting a skating party for New Year’s, from 12-3pm (sold out) and 4:30-7:30pm. They’ll have balloon drops and other festivities. They have different ticket prices but the range is from $6-60.
Troppo Big Band New Year’s Eve Bash
Put on your dancing shoes and head to the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls for a New Year’s Eve Bash featuring big band jazz. Cocktails and appetizers start at 6:30pm, music starts at 7:30pm. Youth tickets are $9, seniors are $17, and adults are $18.
New Year’s Eve Party featuring Matt Tenbroke Quartet
Enjoy a saxophone jazz quartet to ring in the new year at 2 Roots Gallery. Starting at 7pm, it’s free for all ages!
Red Mixer Masquerade Ball
The Red Mixer’s Masquerade Ball is the perfect place to don a mask and dress to the nines. There will be a martini bar, hors d’oeuvres, champagne, and more, plus music with DJ Moses. It’s a $5 entry to benefit their bar manager suffering from an injury.
New Year’s Eve at the Plus
Ring in the new year with some live music from local bands Motherwind, The Over Unders, and Husky Trumpet. 21+.
New Year’s Eve Party at the Best Western Plus
The Best Western Plus Eau Claire Conference Center is throwing a New Year’s Eve Bash featuring Golden Touch DJ, drinks, dancing, and music. It’s a $20 cash cover, and it starts at 8pm.
New Years Celebration with Contingency
The Snout Saloon in Chippewa Falls is rocking in the new year with live rock music by Contingency. It starts at 9pm and is free.
Other Brothers Band New Years Eve Party
The VFW Club 305 is hosting a New Year’s Party featuring the Other Brothers Band, starting at 9pm!
Fire House’s NYE Party
Fire House Eau Claire is throwing a party for 2024 with music from Nick Anderson and The Skinny Lovers, featuring tons of beers on tap! The party starts at 8pm.
The Reboot Social’s NYE Party
The Reboot Social is hosting a party for New Year’s Eve featuring a Live DJ, free champagne at midnight, deals, bowling, and prizes, as well as a late night menu.
