As we age, our skin changes, and we should change our products and habits accordingly. I'm Meg Ann Lee and I am sharing with you 5 habits you should stop doing in your beauty routine right now.
Tanning
It's time. We need to stop. I KNOW it feels great and I swear I feel 10 lbs. lighter if I am tan. However, tanning in a tanning bed is so bad for us. Exposure to UV radiation from tanning beds significantly raises the risk of developing skin cancer, including melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer.

Over Exfoliating
In our 30's, our skins cell production slows down. Older skin cells stay on our bodies longer and it extenuates wrinkles, dryness, and fine lines. Exfoliating is a KEY step in your skincare routine but make sure you are doing your research and choosing an exfoliator that is right for you skin type.
Forgetting To Clean Your Makeup Brushes
Please go look right now and if you have makeup residue on your foundation brush, ya better clean it!
Here are a few blog posts about makeup bushes:
Skipping Sunscreen
SPF is not just for the summer at the beach. You should be using this everyday. I like to buy skincare and makeup items that include SPF in their formula.
Using Harsh Drying Products
As we age, our body's hormone levels change and it changes our skin texture, elasticity and pigmentation. We should not be using the same skincare items as when we were 17. Try looking for skincare products containing ceramides, hyaluronic acid, or glycerin to promote moisture retention.
I hope this post helps you in your skincare and beauty routine <3
