Free Summer Activities
Summer is just around the corner! The kids will be out of school soon if they aren't already. Soon enough they'll be home every day to drive you crazy. So let's talk about some free stuff to do right here in Eau Claire to keep them occupied all summer long.
Parks
This one is simple, but I honestly think parks were built for parents and not for kids. You can let them run wild and take a second for yourself to just breathe. We have so many awesome parks in town. Carson, Irvine, River Prairie and the Rod and Gun park are our favorites.
Music in the Park
Every Thursday night you can head down to music in the park starting at 6pm. This free event has live music, vendors and food trucks.
Splash Pad
Don't want to pay to go to the pool? Get out of the heat and let your kids run free at one of the local splash pads. There's one outside of the Pablo Center and one located at River Prairie park.
Farmers Market
Enjoy some fresh air and pick up some fresh produce at the farmers market on Saturday morning. It's such a great way to start your Saturday and a way to get your kids out of the house.
