Your Guide to the 2024 DECI Eau Claire Fall Festival
Get ready for this Saturday, September 24, as the annual DECI Eau Claire Fall Festival returns to downtown Eau Claire on South Barstow Street from 10 AM to 4 PM. Now in its 35th year, this beloved event is packed with family-friendly activities, incredible food, local performances, and a whole lot of community spirit. Here’s everything you need to know to enjoy the day!

Free Trolley Rides
Need a lift? Take advantage of the free trolley service running from Carson Park to the festival. The first ride leaves at 9:45 AM and will make 30-minute loops until 4 PM, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun.
Live Music & Entertainment
Head to the Reboot Social Main Stage for a day packed with live performances:
- Jim Phillips Project: 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM
- The Woodland Spring: 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM
- Sue Orfield: 2:15 PM – 3:45 PM
- You can also catch a special performance at the Family Zone by 9-year-old Zeon Anderson from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM—and don’t forget to wish him a happy birthday while he rocks out!
Youth and Family Zone
Bring the whole family for tons of fun activities in the Youth and Family Zone!
- Kevin the Balloon Guy will be crafting free balloons.
- Enjoy face painting by Chris, inflatables, and a kid’s DJ from Rock N’ Roll To Go.
- Steve Bateman will be on hand for free caricatures, capturing your festival memories.
- Don’t miss the chance to meet the Pablo Robotics team, the Leviathans, and watch a live demo of their robot in action!
Charity Dunk Tank
Support local causes and have fun dunking local community leaders! The Civic Engagement Zone is home to the charity dunk tank where you can dunk these brave souls for a good cause:
- Julia Johnson: Raising money for Feed My People Food Bank (10:30 – 11:30 AM)
- Dave Solberg, Deputy City Manager: Supporting DECI (12 – 1 PM)
- Kate Felton, City Council member and owner of Eau Claire Outdoors: Dunking for Beaver Creek Reserve (1:30 – 2:30 PM)
- Nick White, Prevail Bank and DECI board member: Benefitting the Boys and Girls Club (3 – 4 PM)Â
The dunkee (that’s an official term) who raises the most funds will get a matching grant of up to $500 for their charity!
Performing Arts Stage
Looking for some unique entertainment? Check out the Performing Arts Stage for a variety of performances, including:
- Ukelele Club of Eau Claire (10:30 – 11 AM)
- Upcycle Fashion Show (11:30 AM – 12 PM)
- Oh Claire Improv: Stand-up comedy and improv acts (12:30 – 1:30 PM)
- Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild performing a scene from The Full Monty (2 – 2:30 PM)
- A family-friendly drag show will close out the stage from 3 – 4 PM.
Artist Market: Kid’s Edition
The final installment of Tangled Up in Hue’s Artist Market of Eau Claire: Kid’s Edition will take place in the Youth and Family Zone. Support young artists as they showcase and sell their creations!
