Hey everyone, I am Meg Ann Lee and this week we are covering the 2025 Grammy's red carpet trends and how you can make them your own. The red carpet this year was SERVING C-, well you finish the rest. From jaw-dropping metallics to sheer confidence (literally), our favorite celebs didn't just walk the carpet-they owned it. And while we may not all have a team of stylists, unlimited designer options, or the confidence of Beyoncé, we can steal a little Grammy glam for our everyday lives.
 Metallic Magic - The "Main Character Energy" Trend
This year's red carpet looked like a futuristic dream-think shimmering silver gowns, liquid gold suits, and more shine than freshly laminated brows. Stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Miley Cyrus turned up looking like human Oscars, and honestly? I am here for it.
How to Wear It Daily: Ditch the boring black. Metallic can be a neutral too. A shimmery blouse or satin slip skirt can take you from just another OOTD to casually dressed like a Grammy nominee. If you're not ready for a loud disco ball moment yet a metallic mini bag, belt, or even a chrome manicure will subtly give you that red carpet sparkle.
Sheer & Daring Layers - The "Are They Wearing Anything?" Trend
Listen, if we had a dollar for every strategically sheer look on the Grammy carpet, we could probably afford one of them. Mesh, lace, and tulle made an ethereal-yet-edgy statement, proving that showing some skin (in a fashionable way) is officially in and Bianca Censori should be…. Censored?
How to Wear It Daily: Showing a little skin on a day to day basis is so NOT my vibe, BUT there are super cute and chic ways to do it. A sheer top over a cute bralette = effortlessly cool, without the risk of a wardrobe malfunction. You could also layer a sheer maxi skirt over biker shorts or a slip dress; fashion and comfort.
 Bold, Sculptural Silhouettes - The "Go Big or Go Home" Trend
If 2024 was the year of the "quiet luxury" look, 2025 said enough of that. We are seeing dramatic sleeves, strong shoulders, and cinched waists were everywhere-because why blend in when you can look like a walking piece of art? If you saw clips of Schiaparelli Couture Spring 2025 runway this is EXACTLY the inspo.
How to Wear It Daily: A structured blazer with power shoulders? Suddenly, your coffee run feels like a business deal. For my body type peplum tops are not IT however we are seeing a rise in this silhouette for some while others are choosing a corset-style look. Each giving you a bold or snatched look without needing a personal trainer.
The 2025 Grammys made one thing clear: Go bold or go home. Whether you embrace all three trends or just sneak in a little metallic shimmer, fashion is all about having fun.
