Stop Motion Workshop for Autistic Students
Imagination, hands-on creating, storytelling, and stop-motion animation will all come together during this fun workshop brought to the Pablo Center by Milwaukee’s Islands of Brilliance!
During the in-person, 90-minute workshop, students (and their parents and siblings – yes, siblings are welcome to join in the fun!) will:
Work together to create a miniature town and characters using provided art supplies and pre-made props and objects
Learn the basics of stop motion animation and collaborate on how to create a story in their tiny towns
Share their stories and final videos with fellow participants
Participants are required to:
Have a consistent system of communication that can be used to engage with others in the community, or have a support person participating with them
Be able to actively engage with their peers and mentor
