The Pablo Center is a performing arts center in the heart of Eau Claire across from Phoenix Park and RCU. They’re in their 6th season, and they have over 125 shows to present to the community, including Broadway shows, music, tribute concerts, and more! Let’s go over some highlights that are coming up.

9/29 – Don McLean

My, my, Miss American Pie – Don McLean, Grammy award honoree, Songwriter Hall of Fame member, and BBC Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, is coming to Eau Claire! He’s the songwriter and singer behind “American Pie,” the classic song many of us know and love. You can catch him at the RCU Theater on September 29th.

9/30 – Eclipse: Dark Side of the Moon

Eclipse will be performing the iconic Pink Floyd album, Dark Side of the Moon, along with their other hits from various albums. This is a moment you don’t want to miss because it’s the 50th anniversary of the album release. The Pablo is a great place to see this show because it will feel like a stadium concert in an intimate venue. Enjoy excellent musicianship, audio, video, and lighting artistry in this Pink Floyd-inspired performance!

10/14 – Dokken

If hard rock and heavy metal are your thing, you’ll enjoy Dokken, known for songs like “Breaking the Chains” and “Alone Again.” They’ve shared the stage with AC/DC, Metallica, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and Kiss, to name a few. They’ve recently played at festivals in Germany and England and toured the US in 2017. BulletBoys open. You can see Dokken and BulletBoys at the RCU Theatre on October 14th.

His show is on October 22nd in the RCU Theatre.

10/28 – Nivrana: Nirvana Tribute

Nivrana is coming to our community to play the hits of Nirvana, for those who never got to experience them live or want to again. They are the most authentic tribute band because they give you the original stage performance, gear, and sound, just like Nirvana had in the 90s. Expect the hits, fan favorites, and deep cuts! Catch this tribute band in the Jamf Theatre on October 28th.

There’s plenty more to look forward to at the Pablo, including comedians Drew Lynch and Charlie Berens, Broadways musicals such as Mean Girls, Hairspray, and Shrek, and local legends such as Them Coulee Boys. For more information and to buy tickets, visit the Pablo Center’s website. Enjoy!
