Thanksgiving Week Event Guide
Are you hosting family or friends for Thanksgiving in the 715 and need a guide for what’s going on? Look no further! We’ve rounded up all of the events happening Wednesday, November 22nd through Saturday, November 25th. Eau Claire and the 715 have no shortage of events, so read on to see what’s going to be happening!
Wednesday, November 22nd
Reindeer Games Escape Room – 6-7:45pm
Not every escape room is held in a historic house, so this is something you’ll want to try. At the Schlegelmilch house in Eau Claire, help Santa prepare for Christmas in this exciting escape room. Cost is $140 for 2-4 players with $35 for each additional player.
DJ Trivia at the Brass Lantern – 7-9pm
If your family is into general knowledge trivia, head to Chippewa Falls and try your luck at the Brass Lantern’s DJ Trivia. Prizes are on the line!
Bear Creek Band & Paige Lee – 7-10pm
In Durand, at the Corral Bar & Riverside Grill, Bear Creek Band will be playing classic country covers with special guest Paige Lee.
Jay Wildner at River Jams – 7-10pm
Jay is going to be playing many genres acoustically from the 60s to today. River Jams in Chippewa Falls is the perfect place to grab a pre-Thanksgiving drink.
Friendsgiving at the Lakely – 7-10pm
The Lakely is hosting their annual Friendsgiving with funk cover band Uncommon Denominator, food and drink specials, and a giveaway.
Mean Girls: The Musical – 7:30pm
There’s still tickets available for Mean Girls: The Musical at the Pablo Center, and it’s a great show! Tickets here.
Seinfeld Trivia at the Plus – 8-9:30pm
If you’ve got family and friends that are into Seinfeld, check out the Plus on Wednesday night to battle other trivia teams for prizes.
Thursday, November 23rd
Christmas Village at Irvine Park – 7am-9pm
Thanksgiving marks the first day of the Christmas Village in Irvine Park being lit up with 100,000+ lights and 100+ life size scenes. It’s something everyone has to check out before it’s gone!
Festival Foods Turkey Trot – 8am
The annual Thanksgiving tradition of the Festival Foods Turkey Trot is back! Run or walk 2 mile, 5 mile, and dog jog events. Get plenty of free goodies when you participate.
Osseo Turkey Trot – 9am
At Stoddard Park in Osseo, run or walk 2.5 or 5 miles. Dogs and strollers are welcome!
Clearwater Comedy’s Thanksgiving Showcase – 8pm
Nothing’s better than laughing on a full stomach. After your Thanksgiving feast, stop by The Plus to enjoy Clearwater Comedy’s showcase of comedy.
DJ & Karaoke Night at Scooter’s – 9:30pm-1:30am
Sing your heart out at karaoke night at Scooter’s, a bar on Galloway Street downtown.
Friday, November 24th
Turkey Twist Family Dance Party – 4-5:30pm
If you’ve got little ones, the Family Dance Party at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is a great place to go. There will also be snacks and crafts.
Late Night Jazz – 7-10pm
The Jeremy Boettcher trio will be performing at the Lakely on Friday night, so if you’re into jazz and great cocktails, stop by the Lakely!
Them Coulee Boys – 7:30pm
Them Coulee Boys will be performing at the Pablo Center, and there are still tickets! They’ll be performing with the Nunnery opening. Tickets start at $29.
Saturday, November 25th

Holiday Porch Pot Class – 1pm
May’s Floral is hosting a Porch Pot Class where you can make your own porch pot for the holiday season!
Christmas with Lorie Line – 3pm
The Pablo Center is hosting Lorie Line as she shares holiday stories and creates memorable music.
Run for the Lights – 4pm
Irvine Park is hosting a relaxed 5k and 1 mile run or stroll through their park, finishing at the Christmas Village.
Live on the Lakely Stage: Evan Walton & Jeremy Boettcher – 7-10pm
Jeremy Boettcher and Evan Walton will be performing at the Lakely, covering new and old favorites.
Live Music: The Duo LaRose – 7-10pm
The Duo LaRose, playing all kinds of music on violin and keys, will be performing at 2 Roots Gallery in downtown Eau Claire.
Clear Water Comedy Presents: The Madison Comedy Takeover Show – 8pm
Comedy lovers will love this lineup of Madison comedians (Jared Porter, Andrew Rynning, and Ben O’Connell) at The Plus.
