This year, we’re lighting up the holidays in a big way while shining a well-deserved spotlight on one of our local heroes. We’re teaming up with Flamingo Power Washing to decorate a veteran’s home for the holidays.
We want to ensure that one of the brave men and women who have served our country can sit back, relax, and enjoy a holiday season they’ll never forget.
Do you know a veteran who deserves some extra holiday magic this year? Whether it’s someone in your family, a neighbor, or a friend, this is your chance to show your appreciation in a big and bright way.
Here’s how to do it:

- Scroll down to find the “Contests” grid
- Find this image:
- Click on it, enter your email address, and click “Submit Your Entry”
- Fill out information about you, and then nominate a veteran in the “Who are you nominating?” box
- Tell us about why you’re nominating them, click “Submit Entry”, and you’re done!
Nominations are open now, so don’t wait – help us turn a veteran’s holiday season into something truly spectacular. Let’s celebrate their service with the glow of holiday lights, the warmth of community, and a heartfelt thank you.
