Steve Martin ( Yes, THAT Steve Martin) and Edie Brickell created a real gem, a 1950’s styled musical BRIGHT STAR–The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild’s production of BRIGHT STAR is coming to JAMF theatre at The Pablo Center September 28-October 1st. Inspired by a true story and featuring the Tony-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, the Broadway musical Bright Star tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in the 1920s and 1940s. Beautiful melodies and powerfully moving characters create an uplifting theatrical journey that holds you tightly in its arms.
